I was born in Yunnan, one of the most beautiful provinces in China. After spending my earlier education in my hometown, I was luckily accepted as an undergraduate student by my dream school, the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China. There I obtained my dual degree in Biological Science and Computer Science. I then joined the group of Dr. Hong Li at the Institute of Molecular Biophysics, Florida State University to explore the structural biology of RNA and proteins, where I conducted my graduate studies. In Winter 2009, I began my post-doctoral training and working jointly under the
supervision of Prof. Stephen C. Harrison and Sean Whelan at Harvard Medical School. I would describe myself as an active and curious person. I enjoy challenges and love to explore unknown puzzles. I
like travelling and reading, as well as sports and food.
