Originally from Belgrade, Serbia, I have had many years of research experience in a variety of international labs. I began my career in a microbiology diagnostic lab in Belgrade, after which I worked in labs on four separate continents: Europe, Australia, Asia, and America. I joined the Whelan Lab in 2007, where I manage daily lab operations and support research experiments. I work on generating and growing recombinant VSV particles bearing glycoproteins from a variety of viruses. Additionally, I have worked on projects pertaining to VSV Polymerase.
